ALL ABOUT US.......Burnley Action Partnership (BAP) is a "local strategic partnership" (LSP). The establishment of LSPs in local authority areas that received Neighbourhood Renewal Funding, which is now the Working Neighbourhoods Fund, was a requirement of the Local Government Act 2000.
BAP is the partnership for Burnley with organisations from the private, public, voluntary, community and faith sectors that works in and for Burnley.
Our aim is to promote the well-being of all the citizens of the borough. BAP also oversees the development and implementation of plans that address priorities for the whole borough within the Sustainable Community Strategy "BURNLEY'S FUTURE" "Burnley's Employment Strategy" This strategy covers "Preparing People for work" , "Engaging Employers" and "Linking into Key Infrastructures" |
